The Government funded flu vaccines are available free of charge to patients who face a high risk from influenza and meet the following criteria:

  • All persons 65 years and older
  • Indigenous Australians and Torres Strait Islanders 15 years to 64 years
  • Pregnant women
  • Patients with a chronic disease

For patients who do not meet the eligibility criteria, the cost of the vaccine is $15.00 with the consultation fee bulk billed.

Pneumococcal Vaccination

Pneumococcal immunisation is available to persons aged 65 years and older and Indigenous Australians and Torres Strait Islanders 50 years and older.

Prescription Changes

Patients are requested to make an appointment with an available GP for all repeat prescription requests.  These prescription appointments are currently bulk-billed.  Please see our RSMC Repeat Prescription Policy.
