Dr Hal has been at RSMC since 1997. He practiced in West Wyalong for 15 years after some time in New Guinea. In 1983 he became a Fellow of the Royal Austalian College of General Practitioners. Graduated from University of NSW in 1983, Jane spent time in England working in Geriatrics and Psychiatry as well as General Medicine. She commenced in General Practice in 1990. She is interested in all aspects of family medicine especially Women’s Health, including antenatal care and contraception. She is trained in the insertion and removal of Implanon. Dr Lawrence also has an interest in Paediatrics, Geriatrics and Preventative Medicine. Jane provides a weekly visiting service to St Catherine’s Residential Aged Care facility and has an appointment as a visiting medical officer at Bathurst Private Hospital. Dr Lawrence is married to Dr Bruce McGarity, one of our local Consultant Physicians, and they have four daughters. Dr Monica Gaur is a fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners , FRACGP.
Prior to working as a GP,she has done Diploma of Child health from Children’ s hospital at Westmead.
She has worked extensively in Obstetrics and Gynaecology in various hospitals in Sydney including Westmead /Blacktown hospitals.
She has trained as a specialist in Obstetrics and Gynaecology in India before moving to Australia in 2007.
She has worked in Sexual Health Clinic at Westmead hospital and is passionate about LGBT health .

She has interest in all aspects of General Practice with particular interest in women’s health including antenatal care, Contraception / Implanon insertion, sexual health, adolescent, mental health, LGBT health ,Chronic health and preventive medicine.

Dr Evie Tonkin grew up in Tamworth, NSW. She studied a Bachelor of Liberal Studies (International), majoring in English, Spanish and Psychology, before studying a graduate medical degree at the University of Sydney. After graduating in 2014 she worked at Nepean Hospital and Wagga Wagga Rural Referral Hospital, before commencing training in general practice. She has completed a Diploma of Child Health, and has a broad range of clinical interests.

Dr Ibraheem has interest in managing chronic medical conditions, O&G and preventive medicine.

Dr Fatema Shabnam started her medical career in Australia in 2016 at Royal Perth Hospital in Western Australia as an RMO. Fatema has worked across emergency, acute medicine , surgery, paediatrics, gynaecology and mental health. She has clinical interests in women’s and children’s health having completed the Diploma in Child Health in 2019.

Fatema also has an interest in chronic disease management. As part of her training, she has completed placements in Orange and Blayney and has now settled in Bathurst with her family. In addition to speaking English, Fatema also speaks Bengali. Dr Shabnam is currently undertaking the Australian General Practice Training Program in order to gain the Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners.

Hilary completed her medical studies at Western Sydney University and has subsequently gained experience working in various Sydney hospitals including Hornsby, Northern Beaches and Mona Vale. She is interested in all aspects of general practice, in particular paediatrics and mental health presentations.

Outside of work, Hilary enjoys spending time outdoors with her two children. Prior to her medical studies, Hilary worked as a professional musician and music teacher in both London and Sydney and has a Bachelor of Music, Masters in Music performance and Diploma of Education. Dr Johnson is currently undertaking the Australian General Practice Training Program in order to gain the Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners.

Dr Tshenolo Masete is a GP registrar with The Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine (ACRRM), aiming to become a GP-Obstetrician. She was born and raised in the landlocked southern Africa country Botswana. Dr Tshenolo relocated to Australia to study Medicine at Monash University, Melbourne. Since then she has practised in hospitals in Botswana and various locations across Australia.

In the earlier years of her practice, she obtained broad experience in Emergency Medicine, General Medicine and Surgery. The latter years of her practice were focused on obstetrics and gynaecology. Dr Tshenolo has a special interest in women’s health, young babies, young families and breastfeeding. She looks forward to growing as a GP and building on her skills and interests including specialties like dermatology.
