Dr John Sandra MB BS FRACGP Dip RACGP DROG - Partner

General Practitioner in Bathurst for 36 years. He is on the Board of Directors of the Central West Medical Association. Interests include Paediatrics, Medical Education, Preventative Medicine and Occupational Health. In 1983 became a Fellow of the Australian College of General Practitioners. He is married to Dr Bernadette Droulers.

Dr Colin Jamieson MB BS FRACGP DRCOG - Partner

Has been in practice in Bathurst since 1983 having previously trained and practiced at St George Hospital (Sydney), Colchester (England) and Mudgee NSW. He is married to Kim, one of the practice’s RNs, and has three children. In 1987 became a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. He is interested in all aspects of family practice.

Dr Hal has been at RSMC since 1997.  He practiced in West Wyalong for 15 years after some time in New Guinea.  In 1983 he became a Fellow of the Royal Austalian College of General Practitioners.  He has Surgical, Obstetric and Paediatric skills to add to general practice interest in sports, allergies and local anaesthetic surgical procedures including vasectomy.  He has the Diploma of Obsterics, and is a Fellow of The College of Rural & Remote Medicine.  He passed his diploma examination for the Australian College of Skin Cancer Medicine in 1997 and the Master class in 2013.

Dr Jane Lawrence MB BS - Associate General Practitioner

Graduated from University of NSW in 1983, Jane spent time in England working in Geriatrics and Psychiatry as well as General Medicine. She commenced in General Practice in 1990. She is interested in all aspects of family medicine especially Women’s Health, Paediatrics, Geriatrics and Preventative Medicine. Jane is married to Dr Bruce McGarity, one of our local Consultant Physicians, and they have four daughters.

Dr Catherine Stewart B.MED FRACGP DRANZOG - Associate General Practitioner

An experienced GP with additional qualifications in Paediatrics, Obstetrics and Gynaecology. Other areas of interest are Age Care and Chronic Disease Management.  Dr Stewart is also involved in GP Registrar training. She lives in Bathurst with her husband and two children.

Dr Goka Avinash (Avi) MB BS - Associate General Practitioner

Dr Avi graduated from the University of Health Sciences, India, and worked in the Indian health system for four years. He worked in the United Kingdom NHS Hospital for five years with training in general medicine and gained his full registration with the General Medical Council, London UK in 2000. He worked in Emergency Medicine in Sydney West Area Health and Orange Base Hospital. He also worked in child and adolescent mental health in Orange Base Hospital. Dr Avi’s areas of general interests are elderly care medicine, hypertension, heart disease, asthma & emphysema & also paediatrics. He is married to Genevieve and has a baby daughter. He has lived in Bathurst for the past four years.

Dr Gagandeep Kaur

 Dr Gagandeep Kaur has more than ten years of experience in Australia in all core specialities including emergency medicine, aged care, aboriginal health, general and vascular surgery, general medicine and mental health.

Additionally, Dr Kaur has done her Masters in Surgery from the University of Sydney and Postgraduate studies in Public Administration. She also holds a Certificate of Sclerotherapy with the Australian College of phlebology.

Dr Kaur is settled in Bathurst and other than English can speak Hindi and Punjabi.

Dr Saima Majeed

 
Sai is a final year registrar. She has an interest in minor surgery, pediatrics, women's health and palliative care. She also likes making origami and brewing her own coffee.
 
Sai moved from a career in medical research to study medicine in Wollongong. She trained through the North Shore network of hospitals and continues her training in Bathurst. She holds a Diploma in Child Health and Certificate in Minor Surgery.

 Dr Evie Tonkin

Dr Evie Tonkin grew up in Tamworth, NSW. She studied a Bachelor of Liberal Studies (International), majoring in English, Spanish and Psychology, before studying a graduate medical degree at the University of Sydney.  After graduating in 2014 she worked at Nepean Hospital and Wagga Wagga Rural Referral Hospital, before commencing training in general practice.  She has completed a Diploma of Child Health, and has a broad range of clinical interests.

She lives with her husband, Ben, who is from Bathurst.

Dr Monica Gaur

Dr Monica has worked extensively in Obstetrics and Gynaecology in various hospitals in Sydney including Westmead hospital. She has also worked as a specialist in O & G in India before moving to Australia in 2007.  Later she worked in various other specialities in hospitals in Sydney including Emergency, General medicine, Paediatrics, Sexual health, General surgery to name a few. She has completed the Diploma of child health through Children's hospital at Westmead. She also is also enrolled with Skin cancer college for certificate of Dermoscopy and Skin cancer medicine. She has keen interest in women's health, antenatal care, sexual health, adolescent health, LGBT health and preventive medicine. She enjoyed living in Bathurst with her family and has settled in Bathurst. In addition to English she can speak fluent Hindi. Dr Gaur is currently involved in a mentorship program for new GP's and plans to do medical education in the future.
